Get a Thorough Vehicle Inspection. The original Bill of Lading is a record of the inspection of your car at pick up; it is to be signed by both you and the driver after the inspection. At the car shipping delivery, the car is inspected again by the driver with you or your agent, both parties sign again, noting if there are any changes. If there is damage, it must be noted on the car shipping delivery Bill of Lading before you sign. Any claim must then be filed within 2 weeks. In the event of damage, you must complete the payment of your auto shipping COD at delivery and then send your request for claim application.
